Moving into college living is one phase in life. Every student who anticipates to go to college, looks forward to the college living experience. It is definitely an experience of a life time and the same time, to many a challenge for the first few months. Living on campus is always not the comfort life, one has led at home for long years. Getting used to routine, adjusting to others, moving into a smaller space, getting things done on your, is a complete different lifestyle, one gets used to. Every college student goes through it, but at the end of college, some of the best memories made are, when living on campus. The furniture

Typically, you are given, a room for yourself or on sharing basis. The basic furniture is always supplied. Any additional, you can add based on available space or your necessity. The usual basics are bed, a closet or few shelves to put some clothes, a table and a chair. Apart from your room, if you are living in an apartment style living, you will be provided with few extra chairs, wooden desks in Sydney at the living and kitchen area, few cupboards for storage. Depending on what kind of living hall you move into, there might be sofa bed provide in a living or TV area, and some other furniture supplies. Most of this is basic and you might want to add in a dresser, another closet for clothe storing and so on.

Flat mates or roommates

College living is all about the shared living and experiencing living with others. Typically, you are placed randomly with other college mates. You might have to share a room with other or share an apartment, based on what kind of living you have chosen with few others, in the same apartment, but rooms apart. The classification is always random. Won’t be from your same class or graduate level, but would be totally random. You can always request for friends or if you have any other restrictions such as pets, smoking and so on.

Kitchen supplies

On campus living, depending on the hall you have chosen to live on, many are equipped with a very basic kitchen. This can be a common kitchen for one entire hall or if its apartment living, shared basis kitchen for every apartment. Basic kitchen good are usually supplied. These goods will be a fridge, a stove, a dishwasher, microwave, a bin. You will need to have other supplies of pots and pans, dishes, utensils, cleaning supplies. It’s always best to wait until you move into know what’s available and then buy whatever is necessary.
